Unfair contracts

As part of our ongoin work challenging unfair terms in financial contracts, on these pages you can see some terms that in our view were unfair.

We have grouped these agreements from firms, which are called undertakings, by product type. You can compare them with contracts you might have signed or seen yourself, but just because a term may look similar doesn't automatically mean it is unfair. When we look at the fairness of terms we look at the precise details of the contract as a whole.

To find out more, including how to report terms you think might be unfair, see Unfair contract terms.

The firms involved in these agreements and statements have all cooperated fully with us and agreed to the changes to their contracts.
