Making a complaint

If you have grounds for complaint, and you have lost out financially, you may be able to claim compensation. These pages set out the following:

  • What you can complain about.
  • How to make a complaint.
  • What happens next.
  • What if...
    • you were advised before 29 April 1988;
    • the firm is no longer in business; or
    • you were advised by a solicitor?
  • What are the time limits?

If you think you may have grounds for complaint you should act now as time may be running out. See Making a complaint or get a free copy of our Endowment mortgage complaints booklet, which gives you more detailed information. You can download or order it online – see Publications.
