Orion Direct Ltd and Peppercom plc no longer conduct general insurance business or any activity regulated by us.
- Orion Direct traded from offices at Bank House, King Street, Clitheroe, Lancashire BB7 2EL.
- Peppercom traded from offices at 54 Lansdown Road, Cheltenham, Gloucester GL51 6QB.
We have reason to believe that, in some instances, customer premiums for insurance cover paid to Orion Direct and Peppercom may not have been passed on to the insurer. Any customer in this position may not have valid insurance cover in place.
If you took out a motor insurance policy through any of the firms listed below then, without valid third-party insurance, you may be committing an offence if you use a vehicle on the public highway under the provisions of the Road Traffic Act 1988.

Potentially any customers who took out insurance through:
- Orion Direct Ltd;
- Peppercom plc;
- Taximan Ltd (an appointed representative);
- HaulageMan Ltd (an appointed representative); or
- Any of these firms doing business under the following trading names:
- Clubs Direct;
- Fleetforce;
- Restaurant;
- Selector;
- Clickthepepper;
- Instructorcover;
- Ignition Insurance;
- Just for Pubs;
- Trucking Insurance UK;
- Courier Insurance; or
- Cabman Ltd.
What should affected customers do next?
If you are in any doubt as to whether you have valid insurance cover, you are strongly advised to contact Asher Miller of David Rubin's and Partners – the appointed administrators of Orion Direct and Peppercom.
If you discover that you don't have valid insurance cover you should take immediate steps to arrange some.
