Warning – Griffiths McAlister Insurance Brokers Limited
Customers should check they have valid insurance in place because there is a risk that Griffiths McAlister Insurance Brokers Limited (Griffiths McAlister) did not always pass on your insurance premiums.
Griffiths McAlister operates from offices at The Old School House, 14 Mill Road, Burgess Hill, West Sussex, RH15 8DR.
We have reason to believe that, in some instances, customer premiums may not have been passed on to the insurer. Any customer in this position may not have valid insurance cover in place.
If you took out a motor insurance policy through Griffiths McAlister then, without valid third-party insurance, you may be committing an offence if you use a vehicle on the public highway under the provisions of the Road Traffic Act 1988.
Who does this affect?
Potentially any customers who bought insurance through Griffiths McAlister Insurance Brokers Limited.
What should affected customers do next?
You should contact the insurance company with whom you believe your policy is held, to check your insurance cover is valid.
If you discover that you are not covered, you should take immediate steps to arrange new cover.
